July 4   Boat Parade on the Bay: NOON. A Fair Haven tradition!! Decorated kayaks to yachts parade around Little Sodus Bay!! FHYC
July 1-3   Fair Haven Arts & Crafts Fair at the Village Park: 10 AM - DARK. Sponsored by the Fair Haven Area Chamber of Commerce. Handmade arts and crafts by local, regional and national artisans and crafters. Entertainment and food vendors in the Park throughout the fair.
July 1-3   Carnival, Chicken BBQ, live entertainment: After parade on Friday, and 5:00 PM Saturday. Kiddee Matinee both Saturday and Sunday this year!
July 2   5K Walk/Run - Hospice of the Finger Lakes: 8:00AM registration -- race starts at 9:00AM at Cayuga Street Park!! July 8th   5th Annual Irish Fest Block Party at O’Connors' Pub
TBD   The Little Red Schoolhouse Museum: Open Saturdays and Sundays 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. In Sterling, N.Y. We have many exhibits in our Little Red School House Museum, including early industries, a barber shop, the Civil War, antique quilts and more. We provide museum tours for school children and other groups.

August 27th   Pirate Fest Come party like a Pirate or walk the plank! You don't want to miss it, as pirates take over our village! Breakfast with Capt'n Tor 9 am - 11ish at Turtle Cove. Costume parade, costume contest, pirate ship parade, live pirate battle, and more. Bawdy Pirate Ball at Little Sodus Inn starting at 8:30 pm. Enjoy all day fun for the whole family!

Our end of Summer party features a traditional New York Style Clambake with a Raw Bar, Steamers, BBQ Chicken, Italian Sausage, Salt Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, and Salad all you can eat. We’ll have live music all afternoon for this Bayside bash. Pre-sale tickets, and Beer and Wine available.

Harvest Festival at Colloca Estate Winery

Saturday, October 3, 2015 (12 pm – 9 pm)
FUN. FOOD. WINE. The public is invited to have their hand in picking grapes, enjoy estate tours, and wine and dine at Colloca Estate’s Harvest Festival, Saturday, October 11, 2011 in Fair Haven, New York. Admission is Free to the public.

The fun begins in the early morning beginning Saturday with an introduction to harvesting by CEO/Owner, Dr. Chris Colloca. Afterwards you and your group promenade off in Colloca Estate’s Lake Effect Vineyard® to pick the highest quality grapes that are used to make its award-winning wine. You may even break into a Sicilian song! After the grapes are picked it is time to celebrate with wine tastings and food offered all afternoon, with the Tasting Room being open from 11 am to 6 pm.

Estate Tours will be given of the 100 acre property promptly at 1 pm and 3 pm where tastings of Colloca wines will be conducted both in the vineyard and along the Estate’s 900 feet of pristine waterfront. Live music, food, and vendors will keep the Harvest Festival going all afternoon long. Festival Activities Include:

Morning Harvest Grape picking
Try your hand at harvesting grapes from the vines and tell your friends you’re a winemaker! Simply show up at 8 am for the harvest debriefing and the fun begins immediately after.

Estate Tours & Wine Tastings
Beginning in the vineyard, and continuing through the property, guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at the 100 acre waterfront estate and learn about the Lake Effect from the Great Lake Ontario. Owner, Dr. Chris Colloca will also explain the winemaking process from vineyard to glass. By appointment, 1 pm and 3 pm. $10 and includes a commemorative wine glass

Music, Food, and Vendors
Enjoy live music from 2-6 pm and, fantastic food that pairs with Colloca wines all afternoon. You can also visit our vendors displaying their local wares as you relax and enjoy the day. We even have pumpkin carvings for the kids.

Colloca Estate is located just off Rt. 104A on West Bay Road in the Village of Fair Haven and Town of Sterling, just an hour’s drive from Syracuse and Rochester.

Christmas Tree Lighting: Fair Haven Village Park at 7:00 PM

Join Santa, Mrs. Claus and Buddy the Elf as they spread Christmas cheer in the Village. There will be singing of Christmas Carols, drawings for prizes and a punch and cookie reception at the Fire Hall. The event is sponsored by the Fair Haven Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dec 17-18   Jingle Around the Town: Join the fun and support your community! Jingle Bell 3K/5K Fun Walk/Run. Shops open for your local Christmas buying.

Winter Festival: Winter Festival: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Fair Haven Beach State Park and Sabin Hall. Demonstrations, raffles, Winter Photo Contest, Chili Challenge, Beach Volleyball, Homemade Lunch, Scavenger Hunt, Snowman Building Contest, Fun in the Snow, and More! Winter Festival Progressive Dinner & Dance: Four Courses at Four Fair Haven Eateries. Enjoy Wine Tasting & Appetizers at Colloca Estate; Soup & Salad at Turtle Cove Resort; Entrée at The Village Grill of Fair Haven; and Desserts by Fly-By-Night Cookie Co.

After dinner, enjoy an evening of dancing at Sabin Hall at Fair Haven Beach State Park from 7 - 10:30 p.m. Live music and refreshments provided. Bring your dancing shoes and dance the night away to the high-energy intoxicating brew of sound that is Grupo Pagan (www.grupopagan.com).

Dance-only tickets are $10, or just $40 for the combo ticket. Tickets are available online, at Savannah Bank in Fair Haven, from participating businesses, or by calling Kera at 315-702-4653. Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance, but Dance-only tickets will be available at the door or at the Winter Festival during the day.
