What does the Chamber do for your business?
- Produces the Fair Haven, NY brochure which is distributed to information
centers and mailed out in response to inquiries.
- Produces annual advertising directory that is distributed along
with the Fair Haven brochure.
- Allows members to distribute their brochures in our brochure mailings.
- Owns and maintains www.fairhavenny.com
which has information about our area, lists area member businesses
and organizations and carries a schedule of events. Also carries links
to individual member sites.
- Maintains the information booth in the Main Street village park
where member businesses can display brochures or other information
about their business.
- Annual advertising in such publications as "Journey Magazine", Cayuga
County brochure, Finger Lakes Guide, LOC Derby Gazette and other tourism-oriented
publications.
- Uses state "matching funds" program which leverages advertising
dollars with a match from the state. Also allows cooperative advertising
with members to enable them to obtain up to 70% savings on some ads.
- Representation on regional tourism organizations.
- Full-time contact availability with chamber telephone and computer
for e-mail.
- Sponsorship of local events such as Arts and Crafts Show in July,
golf tournament, Halloween event and Dickens Day-at Christmas. Also
an annual presentation by the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theater at no charge.
